Zine-making is a creative skill to attain that attracts public opinion to political, social and economic problems worldwide. Zines are created to portray one’s opinions about an issue in an easy and safe way. Newspapers can be long and boring to read; however, zines are a fun and interesting way to learn about everything and anything. They create an enjoyable environment for teaching and learning about topics of interest.
Being creative increases people’s ability to be more open minded and notice things that usually don’t pop out. Reading and analyzing zines helps improve one’s understanding of situations and events happening. Would zines be taken seriously, even if they are expressed in a humurous way?
